PAINTS Series

Gesso, acrylic, ashes, natural pigments and

matte varnish on canvas.

I work wood ash from my fireplace fires and natural pigments directly on the canvas with fresh white acrylic. Each canvas is coated beforehand with Gesso.

I use as tools, often instinctively, different knives, brushes, sponges, or quite simply my fingers.
